David Johnson is in his seventh year as an assistant coach on The Villages High School football team.

A native of Summerfield, Florida, Johnson is a 2006 VHS graduate and was a member of the first Buffalo football team in school history. As a coach, he has served on both the varsity and junior-varsity sidelines.

Johnson is married to his wife, Jackie, and has three children: Elliot, Emery and Everett.
