Welcome to The Villages High School Strength and Conditioning!


The mission of our strength and conditioning program is to provide the athlete an opportunity to engage in a variety of programs that improve their athletic performance. Safe and proper progressions along with a focus on foundational strength and speed development are the pillars of our program.Tests using the latest technology are used to determine measurements of power, speed, flexibility, strength, and conditioning in order to track and evaluate student progress.

The VHS S&C program aims to enhance overall athletic potential while decreasing the risk of injury through ground-based tri-planar movements using sport-specific research-based programming methodology. Our department looks to increase strength, power, agility, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, and mobility while also educating the student on proper nutrition and recovery habits to enable preparedness for their respective competitive seasons. our goal is to provide the student-athletes with the tools needed to compete at the high school level while also equipping them with life skills they can carry throughout their life.
