VHS Aquatics Center
Home of the Buffalo swimming and diving teams, the VHS Aquatics Center opened in October 2023. Featuring an Olympic-sized, 50-meter pool with moveable bulkhead and a youth/high school width of 25-yards, the VHS Aquatics Center is a state-of-the-art facility, making The Villages High School stand as one of the only public schools in Florida to have feature its own on-campus competition pool. The pool also features a diving well with 1-meter and 3-meter diving boards. The steel frame of the pool was initially fabricated for the 2020 U.S. Olympic Trials in Omaha, Nebraska, which were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The pool features the Gen7 competition system from Colorado Timing Systems, while fans will enjoy shaded bleacher seating for 600 spectators. The VHS Aquatics Center also features a 12-foot-by-8-foot Watchfire video board and Community R.5-96MAX PA speakers.
