Clermont, Fla. — The Villages High School bowling teams split a pair of decisions on the road against South Lake on Thursday in Clermont.
The Buffalo girls enjoyed a 3-0 sweep over the Eagles inside the Clermont Bowling Center, while the boys fell victim to a sweep of their own.
Logan Edelstein posted a team-high 205 to lead the VHS girls, who improved to 2-0 overall this season.
Cayden Tjoe's high scores of 214 and 207 weren't enough to lift the Buffalo boys to a win, as the team's record dropped to 1-1 this fall.
The two squads return to action at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday when they battle Umatilla at Lakeside Lanes in Tavares.
