Cody Hills is in his second year as Sports Information Director for The Villages High School.
A native of Iowa City, Iowa, Hills joined the VHS Athletics staff after eight years with The Villages Daily Sun newspaper, providing wall-to-wall coverage of Buffalo athletics and other sports throughout the community.
In that time, Hills was a four-time winner (2019, 2020, 2021, 2022) in Sports Writing within the Florida Press Club's Excellence in Journalism contest, while earning first-place honors for Sports Column Writing in 2020 and 2022, respectively. He has been credentialed to cover events hosted by the NBA, MLB, NCAA and NASCAR throughout his career.
Hills was also named a Pulitzer Prize finalist for Local Reporting in 2024.
Cody is married to his wife, Jenna, and has two children: Carson and Summer.
