Orlando, Fla. — The Villages High School volleyball team saw its 2024 season come to an end Saturday in Orlando. 

The Buffalo were swept by No. 1 Lake Highland Prep in the Class 3A-Region 2 semifinals, falling 3-0 (25-20, 25-10, 25-18) to bring their historic postseason run to a close. 

VHS, who picked up the program's first regional playoff win in a dozen years earlier this week, finished the season with a 14-13 overall record. The Buffalo will graduate five seniors from this year's roster.
