Middleton, Fla. — The Villages High School is set to host a tri-county band competition next weekend in Middleton.

The Buffalo will serve as hosts of the Florida Bandmasters Association's District 19 Marching Music Performance Assessment on Nov. 1 at H.G. Morse Stadium, featuring 20 marching bands from Lake, Sumter and Marion counties. 

The performances begin at 1 p.m. and run in 20-minute increments. A 90-minute break will be observed from 4-5:30 p.m.
