Middleton, Fla. — The Villages High School volleyball team released its 2025 season schedule on Tuesday.

The Buffalo will play a total of 18 events — including 10 home dates — in the upcoming campaign, looking to build upon the momentum generated last fall following the program's first postseason win since 2012.

VHS will open with a preseason exhibition tri-match on Aug. 12, before the regular season officially gets underway Aug. 18 against Gainesville. That kicks off a string of home matches for the Buffalo, who will play five of their first six dates this season in Middleton.

The program will host its inaugural Buffalo Stampede Showdown on Sept. 5-6 inside the Buffalo Sports Complex at VHS, welcoming teams from across the state for an in-season tournament. The Buffalo will then compete in the Florida Gem Tournament on Sept. 12-13 at the Wiregrass Ranch Sports Complex in Wesley Chapel. 

VHS will also take on a trio of powerhouse programs on the road in a week's time, as they visit defending district champion Montverde (Sept. 16) and West Orange (Sept. 17), before battling reigning Class 3A state champion Lake Highland Prep on Sept. 23.

The Villages will close out its regular season with a Senior Night finale on Oct. 8 against Mount Dora in Middleton.
