Orlando, Fla. — The Villages High School boys basketball team found itself on the wrong side of a lopsided result Tuesday night, falling 102-66 on the road at Oak Ridge in Orlando.
The loss drops the Buffalo to 3-5 overall this season.
The 102 points allowed by VHS were the most for any game that ended in regulation in program history, trailing only the total allowed during a 117-114 win in four overtimes against Seffner Christian in the 2019 Battle at The Villages.
Chris Washington Jr. led the way for the Buffalo with 14 points, while
Aaron Britt Jr. added 12,
Jared Thompson had 11 and
Brisun Hammermeister finished with 10.
The Villages is scheduled to return to action at 7:30 p.m. Friday night, when the Buffalo host rival Wildwood at VHS.
