Middleton, Fla. — The Villages High School boys basketball team got everything it wanted offensively in an 88-70 victory over Tampa Catholic in the Iverson Classic Blackout Series on Friday in Middleton.

The Buffalo (12-10 overall) set their season-high point total in the win, which included 30 points from Chris Washington Jr. and 20 from Adyn Corbin. VHS also received a pair of 14-point performances from Jared Thompson and Brisun Hammermeister, respectively.

The Villages will now look ahead to capping the Iverson Classic Blackout Series with a 7:30 p.m. tilt Saturday night against Westminster Academy.
