Middleton, Fla. — The Villages High School swimming and diving teams enjoyed a sweep in their season finale Wednesday in Middleton.
The VHS boys rolled to a 126-50 win over the visiting Celtics, while the Buffalo girls squad picked up a 91-80 victory at the VHS Aquatics Center.
In total, The Villages recorded 16 first-place finishes and 20 individuals set personal-best times at the meet. The largest time drop came via Brianna Davis, who dropped more than 21 seconds off her time in the 500 freestyle.
Next up, the teams will prepare for the district meet, with VHS hosting the diving portion at 4 p.m. Oct. 28 and the squads traveling to the FAST pool in Ocala for the district swim meet at 10 a.m. Oct. 29.
