Middleton, Fla. – The Villages High School girls weightlifting team enjoyed a clean sweep over visiting Windermere Prep on Wednesday afternoon in Middleton.

The Buffalo lifted to an 83-48 victory in the Olympic format and a 113-45 win in the Traditional discipline, picking up a pair of head-to-head victories on Senior Day inside H.G. Morse Stadium.

Lana Nelson (101), Angelina Linn (129), Madison LaCharite (183) and Chloe Wilkens (UNL) each swept first-place finishes in their respective weight classes in both disciplines.

Up next, the Buffalo will hit the road Dec. 12 to take on River Ridge in New Port Richey.
