Leesburg, Fla. — The Villages High School bowling program picked up a pair of sweeps Wednesday in Leesburg.
Both the Buffalo boys and girls teams earned 3-0 victories over visiting Tavares, dominating to a trio of lopsided game wins inside AMF Leesburg Lanes.
The VHS boys won 1,025-792, 877-613 and 179-99, with the effort paced by Kash Carroll, who rolled individual games of 238 and 233.
The Buffalo girls team won 664-264, 614-269 and 156-52, as Amelia O'Brien led the way with games of 157 and 161, respectively.
The boys improve to 4-2 overall this season and the girls moved to 5-1 with the win.
VHS will return to the lanes at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 17 against Leesburg.
